If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter then you probably already know this: We are moving!
This is a very bittersweet move for us. We have been in Tulsa since we got married and have made some great friends here. Hubby had been at our church for over 8 years, and I had been at my job for over 4 and a half years.
We hadn’t really considered moving back before Caleb. We were really happy in Tulsa. It’s a great town to live, but God started showing us that we were to move back home (we are both from the Oklahoma City area). God has confirmed that this is His will with every step we have taken in that direction.
So Hubby got a job at a new church and I am currently unemployed- Yikes! But my last day at my job was Feb 8th and I had an interview on the 10th here in OKC. We are living with my parents (Double YIKES) until our home sells in Tulsa.
We are so, so excited to be back home- but leaving our Tulsa friends was hard.
We had a party with our youth group on our last Wednesday night at FBC Jenks. The kids organized a picture slideshow and some of them spoke about good memories they had of us or lessons that they learned from us.
They also held a reception for us on our last Sunday there. It was so neat to see all of the church friends come to see us off.
We are very grateful for the time we had at FBC Jenks!
So we are embarking on a brand new adventure- a new house (eventually), a new(ish) town, and new jobs…all while having a new baby!

Wow! That’s exciting about you moving, but living with the parentals, yikes! I hope your house sells fast!
